An Early Streamer Emmision air terminal, also known as ESE or as an ionizing lightning rod, is an external lightning protection system with innovative technology. The aim of the lightning rod is to preventt damage to electronic instruments within and ensuring the safety of individuals near them. It safely diverts the abnormal high voltage from lightning through a wire connected with an arrester and earthing in the ground. It is mounted on the top of buildings.
